Shepherd's LightHouse is a place where you and your children can call home while learning the skills to become a productive family unit in society. The staff and volunteers at Shepherd's LightHouse are committed to helping you face challenges with confidence. We want you to set life goals and complete the course to independence.
WHAT WE OFFER
The Three O's
Transitional housing for single mothers and their children
Our shelter is a safe environment for our clients
Private bedroom, kitchen access for cooking, bathroom and washer and dryer.
Six-month program with goal setting and comprehensive case management
Six one bedroom/one bathroom apartments with case management.
HUD housing money to help with move-in costs for homeless families
Assistance in filling out Access Florida applications for food stamps and Medicaid.
Volunteer opportunities through the Thrift Store, office, and shelter.
Volunteer hours for Experience Works programs, Career Source programs, community service hours for school students 16 years and older. Community service house for court-mandated programs.
Assisting in supplying needed items to victims of Human Trafficking, children in need of Santa Gifts, and back to school supplies for our clients.

We continue to seek avenues to become financially sustainable, increasing our fundraising efforts, writing and receiving additional grants and seeking funding from foundations. We continue to visit churches, clubs and civic groups. We continue to keep Shepherd's LightHouse name in our community and will always stay focused on the needs of our community
